When you study clarinet with César Palacio, you will receive high quality instruction informed by years of study at top conservatories, professional teaching experience, and firsthand field work with the greatest clarinetists in North America.

Each lesson is individually tailored to the student’s own personal needs and focused around building habits for success. Lessons include instruction in tone, articulation, reeds, rhythm, musical interpretation, practice techniques, and audition preparation.

Dedicated and Attentive

Cesar Palacio has taught clarinet lessons at Yale College, Oberlin College, Oberlin Community Music School, Panama’s Asociación Nacional de Conciertos, and the Aspen Music Festival’s P.A.L.S. Educational Outreach Initiative. He has also served as a sectional coach for young musicians from the University of Toronto Wind Symphony, Yale Symphony Orchestra, Niagara Youth Orchestra, and the National Youth Orchestra of Panama. He has most recently presented clarinet masterclasses at Glendale College in Arizona.

Students who have worked with Mr. Palacio have enjoyed success in All-State and All-Region Bands, summer band camps, honor bands, youth orchestras, and collegiate ensembles. In the past, Mr. Palacio himself sat principal in many honor bands and orchestras across the state of Texas, including the TPSMEA All-State Band, ATSSB All-State Band, the Greater Dallas Youth Orchestras, and at the Texas Tech University Band and Orchestra Camp.

Cesar Palacio has taught online lessons to students of all ages, from beginner to adult, since 2016. Instruction is available both in English and Spanish.
